Dorotea

Dorotea is a young girl seeking adventure when one day, she and her best friend, a chihuahua named Amoxtli, are swept away by a tidal wave taken back to Mexico’s feudal era where she encounters the ancient world
of the Aztecs, facing true and false gods, conquistadors, and many other mythical creatures.

Dorotea is the daughter of a young fisherman. She seeks adventure and is very optimistic. When Swept away by a tidal wave she lands in an unfamiliar land where she must rescue her soul and fulfill the prophecy, to free the Lost Ancients from the evil goddess Tlaltecuhtli, and return them to the homeland where they will be once again reunited with Quetzalcoatl.
